Our Story

Building community in Knoxville since 2005

How Grace Began

Grace Community Church started in 2005 when Pastor David and Rebecca Morrison gathered a small group of families in their living room. They shared a vision for a church that felt more like family than institution, a place where honest questions were welcome and every person was valued.

Twenty years later, Grace has grown from that living room into a thriving community of over 400 members. We've moved into a beautiful campus on Magnolia Avenue, but the living-room spirit remains: everyone matters, every voice is heard, and the coffee is always on.

What We Believe

We believe in the transformative love of God, the grace of Jesus Christ, and the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit. Our faith is rooted in Scripture and expressed through worship, community, and service to our neighbors.

We believe the church is at its best when it's serving. Feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, tutoring kids, and showing up for our community in practical, tangible ways. Faith without action is incomplete.
